What if failure wasn’t an option?
What if failure wasn’t an option?
Sit for a moment with the feelings this brought up for you. Was it a joyful release OR a panicked inhale? Where do you feel the response in your body, are you able to let it be there for a minute and share its wisdom with you?
How you view “failure” depends on a lot of things we’ve discussed in previous mindset moments Things like: Healthy self worth, cultivating approval from within & not outside sources, awareness of possible misunderstandings, limiting beliefs and old patterns.
What if failure wasn’t an option…it was an opportunity. What if it wasn’t “failure” at all, but a chance to get curious about the expectations you’ve placed on yourself and why.
What if it was an opportunity to look at the experience from a different perspective, to collaborate and use feedback to improve on a personal and professional level?
These are ALL options, and you get to choose them.
Beating yourself up, blaming others, not responding or refusing to acknowledge patterns are unhelpful. They may seem easier in the moment, a fast fix when you feel like you’ve failed at something. Nothing is beyond repair.
Get curious, honest, vulnerable and stay compassionate with self.
Communicate the same with others and you may find that what you thought was the end of the world is a jumping off point for a whole new beginning.
These are all options and you GET to choose them.
